About Brass & Bower

Hi, I am the artist behind Brass & Bower. You will find me crafting my rings in two places far apart, my home town on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula in Scotland, and also in the picturesque Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. 

I like to find inspiration in many forms of expression, including painting, printmaking, and music. However, it is in this realm of jewelry making that I have discovered an underlying passion that brings my skills and interests together. 

The origins of my designs arose from capturing the essence of the Scottish Highlands and distilling the light and colour into an abstracted interpretation seen in the geometric layers in my rings. I find my pieces a testament to the unique interplay of light and the unpredictable weather of the West Coast Highlands.
